Planning Board Schedules and Deadlines

The Planning Board has both regulatory and non-regulatory functions. The largest non-regulatory functions are the preparation and review of the Master Plan and building the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The Planning Board also regulates subdivisions, storm water, excavations, and driveways as well as site plan review for issues of safety and traffic.

Board members must be residents of Wilton and are elected at annual town elections. The seven member Board has elected, staggered three-year terms.  Alternates and the Select Board representative are appointed for single year terms.
