Wilton residents  have access to several providers of internet services, with great broadband coverage throughout the town.  These include Comcast/xfinity, TDS Telecomm, Consolidated Communications, HughesNet and Viasat.

The independent research organization BroadbandNow has recently designated  Wilton a "Fiber-Friendly Certified City". According to their research, "residents and businesses of Fiber-Friendly Cities are well-positioned to compete in our modern economy in the near-term and long-term, and improve our nation’s technology infrastructure".
