Wilton Community Comes Together in Mutual Support During COVID-19 Crisis
Posted on 03/14/2020

Do you need help?  Wilton Cares!

Are you quarantined or self-isolating due to the Coronavirus?  There are several organizations in town that are working together to get groceries delivered to your home each week, completely free of charge. We have had non-perishable groceries and household supplies donated, and are happy to get them to you. We also have a network of volunteers who are able to assist with other errands with which you may need help (for example: getting your recycling to the dump, or getting you specific perishable items).

Want to help?

The group is accepting food donations at Wilton Station (99 Main St) - across from Fire Department on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:10 a.m.-noon.

We have also established a Google sheet where you can register to volunteer. If you are having trouble adding to the sheet, just send an email to [email protected]

We have also developed a Facebook group -- Wilton Cares – Community Response to COVID-19. It provides helpful information about local restaurants and stores providing home delivery, new state emergency hotlines, aid in completing unemployment applications, and much more.
